This paper presented the overall structure of water supply system using PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) as main controller, the constant-pressure principle and variable-frequency principle applied to traditional water supply system and the switched adaptive control principle newly used in this system. It combined the system with its mathematical model to go on analysis. Based on the switched adaptive control theory, the system switching by itself can offer good water supply. The simulation data using Visual C++ confirms the system’s rationality and superiority.
