Instantaneous Availability of a Machine Repair System with Warm Standbys ……

In this paper, a machine repair system with warm standbys is studied. There are R repairmen under N-policy vacations in the system. Balking and reneging of fault components are also considered. Differential- difference equations of state probabilities are obtained by Markov process theory and the exact expression of failure state probability is derived by using matrix theory and inverse of Laplace transform.
