LabRoio

LAbRoio is a multidisciplinary research group at University of L'Aquila with a thermo-physical laboratory focused on smart energy management models. Our aim is to give intelligence to a node called "prosumer" (energy PROducer and conSUMER) by optimizing loads demands and energy supply. An example may be the cooling load of an air conditioner in daily/monthly operation during summer time, when the energy bill is dominated by it. Providing intelligence to the node translate to give forecasting capabilities to the heat control system based on ICT technology extendible to the entire electrical grid.
