This table has been extracted from the "State of the Park Report for the Ecological Integrity of Stanley Park," produced by the Stanley Park Ecology Society in 2010. It was extracted from Table 10, entitled "Substrate and fauna characteristics of select Stanley Park intertidal areas (from Coast River, 1995)," on page 82.

The information in this table was gathered in order to assess the foreshore vegetation in Stanley Park. The seawall surrounding Stanley Park may have produced "an abrupt, artificial transition" between land and marine environments (81). Other marine algae species have been recorded in Stanley Park (82).

Gigartina exasperata, marked with (*), is now classified as Chondrancthus exaspertus

Enteromorpha, marked with (**), is no longer recognized as distinct from the genus Ulva.
