Research on well log automatic segmentation problem

According to the GR date of No.1 well, the author established layer variance analysis model and continuous wavelet analysis model, and make automatic segmentation of No.2 to No.7 wells. The study found that relative average deviation of No.2 to No.7 wells is between 1.12% and 7.72%. Automatic segmentation of No.8 to No.13 wells is made, and shows that the relative average deviation of continuous wavelet analysis model is about 20% of layer variance analysis’s. http://www.sjie.org/paperInfo.aspx?ID=149
