ECHO humanitarian data is based on ECHO's financial management database HOPE (Humanitarian Office Programme Environment), in operation since 1996, and ABAC, the corporate financial management system used by the European Commission. The Member States of the European Union have agreed to inform ECHO when they approve funding for humanitarian aid, using a 14-point report system. |
