State/UT-wise Milk Production from 2007-08 to 2011-12. Sikkim, Dadar & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Delhi Figures from 2007-08 onwards are estimated based on the number of animals in milk as per livestock census 2007 and the yield rate of concerned neighbouring State (for Sikkim yield rate of West Bengal, Dadar & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu yield rate of Gujarat and for Delhi yield rate of Haryana) has been used except year 2011-12 data which is estimated based on previous year data calculated by annual growth of year 2010-11; Totals may not tally due to rounding off of the figures; UT- Union Territory; All the figures are in thousand tonnes; Source : State/UT Animal Husbandry Departments.
