Overview:
This list concerns the names of the Special Advisers to the President and Commissioners of the European Commission appointed on 1 April 2008 until 31 march 2009 (unless otherwise indicated) in accordance with the Staff Regulations of Officials and the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of the European Communities [1], and in particular Articles 5, 123 and 124 of the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants, as well as the Rules Governing Special Advisers[4]. The signature of a declaration on the honour of no conflict of interest between the duties of Special Adviser to the Commission and other activities has been made a condition for the conclusion of contracts.
