The Semantic Web Unit of A.U.Th. presents the first Greek university Open Data in the form of Linked Data. These data from the central website of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki now make sense also for "machines", because they are described semantically using ontologies. Thus, the data become more "intelligent" and more useful through the structure they acquire. At the same time the exchange of data is facilitated and thereby the power of information analysis is multiplied. Furthermore the data are retrievable and reusable via a SPARQL Endpoint. Linked Open Data of A.U.Th. can be used to create applications and visualizations.
