In this paper, the process that the arch bridge self-floating anti-collision facility was struck by a ship was simulated with FEM,in order to improve the efficiency of the numerical calculation, a simplified mechanical calculation model of anti-collision facility wasproposed, as was that the model of the bow and part of anti-collision stripe where they contact with each other was established according to reality by deformable body, other area of anti-collision stripe was replaced by beam elements, the hull and poop were simplified as a rigid body. The whole deformation of anti-stripe, the response curves of collision force and displacementin collision area, the curve of energy conversion andlocal stress were got during the collision, and then the colliding capability of anti-collision facility was assessed, the results show that anti-collision facility can resist the impact of ship, which plays a role in protecting bridge.
