This intelligent car can detect the curved tunnel and run along the set path automatically. It also can examine and display the speed, etc. The small car can collect signals of external by infrared sensor and process signal by single-chip to enable the small car to follow the curved tunnel running smoothly. This control system on STC89C52 single-chip as core includes detection module circuit, speed measurement module circuit, drives circuit and so on. In order to increase the control accuracy, using the digital PID control algorithm and changing the PWM duty cycle realized to control the speed rapidly and stably. The control system has the advantages of simple structure, full-featured and easy to implement. This design has great practical value because ideas and methods of its design can also be used for unmanned vehicle reversing system and intelligent shift system.
