Call admission control (CAC) plays a very important role in assuring the quality of service (QoS) of wireless cellular system, especially in an interference-limited CDMA system. For a CDMA system which adopts a CAC scheme based on Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) , it admit a call as long as the measured SINR is higher than the predefined threshold value (SINRth).
