Analysis on Ore-controlling Factors in Ertan ...

Based on detailed geological information, we investigate metallogenic features of proved orebody in Ertan region, and summarize its regional minerogenetic condition. Through analyzing the relationship between mineralization and ore-controlling factors like strata, structure, magmatic rock and wall rock alteration, we can conclude that geological structure is the main ore-controlling factor. For developing numerous faults, a series of well-developed endogenous ore points formed in the binding site. The binding sites between fracture zones and gray matter skarns, crushed zones in skarn formations and contact zones between griotte and alternated sandstones are proved to be the most optimistic metallogenic parts.
