In recent years, a commercial product of ornamental crystal called Wishing Crystal in market has attracted young consumers’ attention, because of people’s positive participation in the process of crystal bring-up and its beautiful crystal druse appearance. From the growth of crystal, we got needlelike or prism crystal druse. By XRD analysis and atomic absorption spectrometry analysis, we confirmed that the major component of the product is Ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (ADP for short) with chemical formula as NH4H2PO4. The crystal of NH4H2PO4 is belong to tetragonal-disphenoidal class with a symmetric type of Li42L22P ( 422 ), characterized by the combined form of tetragonal prism {100} and dipyramid {101}; or the combinate form of tetragonal prism {100}, tetragonal disphenoid {112} (positive) and {112} (negative). We found that a slow temperature-cooling rate is beneficial to the crystal cultivation.
