In recent years, the RS research becomes more and more that on crop growth monitoring and yield estimation, crop pest monitoring, crop quality monitoring and so on. However, these studies mainly on rice, maize, wheat, cotton and other crops, it hardly involved in tobacco. This article analysis the theory of RS yield estimation in other corp while considering the spectral characteristics of tobacco. In this passage, we analysis model, crop identification and time and photo choice.
